Shanghai ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು (Kannadigaru) established to promote Kannada & Indian culture, uphold Kannada Language amongst the community. By hosting cultural programs & providing platform to our young and old members to explore & express, we instill Kannada tradition across time zones. Shanghai ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು group represents rich Karnataka heritage of great Indian diaspora in China. We believe in voluntary service, with no formal posts in the group.

“ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸೋಣ, ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಮಾತಾಡೋಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡತನವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸೋಣ”.

ಶಾಂಘೈ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ, ಕಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಿಸಿ, ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಒಡನಾಟವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಧ್ಯೇಯ.
ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾದ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಪತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಔದಾರ್ಯಯುತವಾದ ಕಳಕಳಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಡುವುದೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.
Shanghai Kannadigaru group re-formed on the occasion of Yugadi celebration in the year 2018. Group members are from Shanghai, Changshu, Guangzhou, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Suzhou and other parts of China. Shanghai Kannadigaru group members comes from all professions like IT, Automobiles, Teaching, Finance, Business development, Fabrics & Textiles, Pharmaceutical, Research, Trading, Yoga teaching, Medicine, Shipping etc. Group members experience staying in Shanghai/China varies from few months to several years.
Shanghai Kannadigaru helps all Kannadiga’s to feel like home away from home and try supporting new comers get soaked in to Shanghai city and Chinese way of living. Shanghai Kannadigaru established to promote Kannada & Indian culture as well as Kannada Language within the community through various cultural events organised in the city. Shanghai Kannadigaru group represents rich Karnataka heritage of great Indian diaspora in China and integral part of Indian Association in Shanghai.
